About the Role

The Manager SAP – Order to Cash (The Americas) oversees the lifecycle of one or more SAP products within the Sales Value Stream, ensuring solutions meet business needs and deliver value. The role leads a growing regional team of SAP Consultants (initially ±2, scaling to ±15), responsible for solution development, support, and continuous improvement across the O2C domain.

The Sales Value Stream covers the customer order lifecycle—from order receipt and processing to fulfilment, billing, and payment collection—leveraging SAP SD, logistics, and billing solutions to optimize customer experience and cash flow.

This role requires strong expertise in O2C and logistics processes and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.


Your Accountabilities

1. Product Roadmap & Strategic Planning

Work closely with Business Relationship Managers to understand and prioritize business needs.

Own and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Director Global SAP for the value stream and Solution Architects.

Collaborate with Solution Architects to validate technical feasibility, scalability, security, and adherence to enterprise architecture.

Manage the product catalog and lifecycle, ensuring solutions remain fit-for-purpose and deliver business value.

2. Solution Delivery & Support Governance

Validate solution designs and ensure alignment with technical architecture.

Plan, assign, and oversee the work of SAP Consultants across estimation, design, build, testing, debugging, packaging, and release.

Ensure SLA-based support, overseeing prioritization and coordination of incidents and service requests.

Resolve complex support tasks and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Approve estimations, specifications, and changes, ensuring compliance with standards and consistency across solutions.

Safeguard SAP core standards and manage deviations in collaboration with Solution Architects.

Promote SAP best practices, evaluating complementary software and vendors where appropriate.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Integration

Align delivery activities with broader value stream strategy and end-to-end business processes.

Collaborate with other Managers SAP to ensure solution integrity across value streams.

Work closely with Service Managers to ensure resource allocation, workload balance, and process compliance.

Monitor product performance and user satisfaction, maintaining continuous communication with Global & Local Key Users.


Role Organization & Scope

All Managers SAP are part of the SAP Solutions organization within the Global SAP CoE. SAP Solutions manages the full lifecycle of SAP applications, delivering business-aligned solutions across value streams such as Finance, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Sales. The team ensures global standardization where possible, supports local requirements when needed, and drives innovation and user experience improvements across the SAP landscape.


Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

Experience

7+ years delivering SAP solutions, configurations, and custom development. (Essential)

3+ years in management roles handling multi-cultural, remote teams. (Essential)

Proven solution design, implementation, and support experience in complex, regulated environments. (Essential)

Experience with Order-to-Cash and Outbound Logistics processes in SAP ECC and S/4HANA. (Essential)

SAP & Technical Expertise

Strong expertise in SAP SD and LE-TRA. (Essential)

Experience with S/4 TMS, LO-VC, and/or SAP C4C. (Desirable)

Strong skills preparing functional specifications, configurations, and test cases. (Essential)

Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Signavio, MS Office, and collaboration platforms. (Essential)

Education & Languages

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). (Essential)

Fluent in business English (verbal and written). (Essential)

Spanish or French. (Desirable)
